Our Beliefs
God:
We believe in only one true and living God and the trinity of persons in the God-head, Father, Son, and Holy ghost, and yet there are not three, but one God.
Whole Bible:
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice.
Church:
We are told in II Corinthians 5:7, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.’’ This shows that nothing but creative power can make a Christian. “It is written: “…and the Lord added to the Church daily such as should be saved.
Confession of Faith:
“Come and hear all ye that fear God, and I will declare what He Hs done for my soul. (Psalms 66:16) “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. (Romans 10:10).
Salvation:
We believe that sinners who are born again are justified in the sight of God alone by the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to them by faith.
Baptism:
This is the new Testament order. At the first, it was so. They repented, they believed, they were baptized, then they were added to the Church. Without confession in baptism there can be no Christian church. (Mark 1:15; John 3:5; and Acts 2:41). We believe in baptism by the immersion in water.
Mission:
To draw people to Jesus Christ and receive them into membership of his family, to make Christian spiritual progress and to equip them to serve their mission for which they were called by God in the church and in the world so that we may honor God’s name.
